Job Description

Specific Job Functions:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of menu items and recipes.
  • Work rapidly and accurately.
  • Utilize proper food handling techniques following Health and Safety Standards.
  • Maintain proper stocking of assigned station and know the mise en place.
  • Clean, maintain and organize work area.
  • Assist Chef in menu preparation and service.
  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one-year high-volume cooking experience required.
  • Must possess good recall and memory.
  • Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms.
  • Must have knowledge of kitchen equipment and good knife skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor a must.
  • Must have or be able to obtain Health Card.
