As a leading provider of hospitality services for the healthcare industry, we are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Orchard Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Towson, Maryland.

About the Role:

As a Cook at Live Well Healthcare Solutions, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals for our residents. Your duties will include accurately and efficiently cooking meals, preparing and portioning food products, and plating and garnishing dishes. You will also act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager in their absence, ensuring accurate meal prep and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking

• Plate and garnish cooked items and prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates

• Act as liaison for the Dietary Manager in their absence

• Follow and prepare standardized recipes

• Clean the kitchen before and after food service

• Clean all kitchen equipment before and after use

• Manage inventory and purchasing

• Rotate stock and develop recipes

• Handle last-minute requests for special events

Requirements:

• Classically trained and experienced in a high-volume culinary environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
