We are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Cook I who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and is ready to contribute to a talented culinary team. Starting rate $22.85

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and specifications.
• Assist with daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, measuring, and preparing ingredients.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, portion sizes, and preparation.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure products are properly labeled, dated, and stored.
• Work collaboratively with other cooks, chefs, and kitchen team members to ensure timely food service.
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries as needed.
• Support banquet, restaurant, and other culinary operations as business needs require.
• Follow all resort safety procedures and departmental standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established food quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
