We are looking for a Line Cook who takes pride in great food, clean execution, and being part of a kitchen team that wants to get better every day.

ARLO has serious culinary ambitions. Our goal is to earn Bib Gourmand recognition, and that means the details matter—from prep and presentation to timing, consistency, and the quality of every plate that leaves the kitchen.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and ARLO standards.
• Work assigned stations such as sauté, grill, fry, or other areas based on experience and business needs.
• Complete daily prep and maintain a well-organized, properly stocked station.
• Execute dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation.
• Maintain proper timing and communication with the culinary team during service.
• Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chefs, and other cooks to keep service moving.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, temperatures, and portion control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Properly store, label, rotate, and handle food products.
• Assist with receiving, inventory, and product organization as needed.
• Support special events, private dining, brunch, and other culinary operations at ARLO.
• Help create a positive kitchen culture where people work hard, communicate well, and have each other's backs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Previous line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, resort, or chef-driven kitchen preferred.
• Solid basic culinary skills and knife skills.
• Familiarity with sauté, grill, fry, or other professional kitchen stations.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and production standards.
• Strong sense of timing and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain quality and composure during busy service periods.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
• A genuine interest in food and a desire to continue developing your culinary skills.
• Culinary education or formal training is a plus, but great experience matters more.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.
