THE JOB:
As a Cook at Jia, you will bring skill and speed to one of the most dynamic kitchens on property. Our four-diamond Asian Fusion restaurant is known for bold flavors, elegant presentation, and unforgettable guest experiences. You will be at the heart of it all. From intricately plated dishes to fast-paced service, your role helps bring the menu to life. This is a high-volume, high-standard kitchen where every plate tells a story. Step into the spotlight at Jia and cook at the pace of excellence.
THE STARTING RATE: $18.95 an hour
THE SCHEDULE:
Swing Shift | Full Time
1:00pm (earliest) - 11:00pm (latest)
Scheduled in 8-hour shifts between the above-listed time frame
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Show your culinary passion by crafting various menu items while following set recipes and standards.
Consistently maintain proper stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation of back-of-house areas.
Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling procedures.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of fine dining culinary techniques
Practice seafood handling skills and shuck oysters as needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Meets the minimum age requirement of 18+ years of age
Exhibits 2+ years of culinary experience in a line cook setting
Demonstrates experience on fry, sauté, grill, and other stations around the kitchen
