Food & Nutrition Services offers nourishing meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees.
The department has about 120 employees and operates 24-hours a day/seven days a week. It provides great employment opportunities for growth and development within the department and hospital.
Food & Nutrition Services can be a stepping stone to careers in healthcare. Employees may take advantage of tuition reimbursement opportunities and become medical professionals. Responsibilities
Prepares and cooks retail and / or patient meals
Handles food in a safe and sanitary manner.
Uses food service equipment properly and safely.
Participates in activities to improve Food and Nutrition services.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two years of relevant experience required
