Schedule: Full-time; open availability, including weekends and holidays, is required.

The Food & Beverage Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food for guests at Kualoa Ranch, including buffet setups at the Ranch House and food for special events. This role involves a variety of tasks in the kitchen, such as stock rotation, labeling, receiving and storing deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in accordance with Department of Health regulations. The Cook is also expected to provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests, contributing to a positive dining experience.

Primary Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and break down buffet and beverage stations for Ranch House and special events.
• Rotate stock to ensure freshness and label items appropriately.
• Receive deliveries, check for accuracy, and store food in refrigerators and containers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to Department of Health rules and regulations.
• Ensure food safety by following proper procedures for food handling, storage, and preparation.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
• Assist with other kitchen-related duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
• 6 months of kitchen experience preferred, with basic knife skills.
• A current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with coworkers and guests in English.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
