The Opportunity

Coury Hospitality has an exciting opportunity for a Cook (AM) supporting the dual-branded campus of TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park. Together, these two distinctive Marriott brands offer a unique blend of luxury hospitality and modern European-inspired design, serving Silicon Valley's business travelers, innovators, and visitors from around the world.

From elevated dining experiences and curated culinary offerings to banquet events and guest favorites, our culinary team plays a vital role in creating memorable experiences across the campus. We are seeking passionate culinary professionals who take pride in precision, creativity, and consistently delivering exceptional quality.

As a Cook, You'll:

• Prepare and execute menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Utilize a variety of cooking methods including grilling, sautéing, roasting, baking, frying, steaming, and broiling.
• Ensure all food is prepared consistently and meets quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, rotation, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
• Assist with prep work, inventory management, and production planning as directed by culinary leadership.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless service execution.
• Support banquet, catering, and special event operations as business levels require.
• Uphold all health department, food safety, and Marriott brand standards.
• Contribute to a positive kitchen culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and excellence.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant, hotel, banquet, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, production sheets, and portion standards with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable during high-volume service periods.
• Food Handler Certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
