Job Description

IHOP is seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to prepare delicious and high-quality meals for our customers. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, production sheets, and customer orders.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet Onvo's standards.
• Manage food inventory, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, including kitchen equipment, utensils, and food storage areas.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP, local health codes).
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service.
• Assist in menu development and special event preparation as needed.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Job Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality food.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
