Cook
The Cook is responsible for food preparation in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that quality food service is always provided.
Essential Duties:
·Review menus prior to preparation of food and prepare timely meals and snacks according to food safety guidelines.
·Assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by the attending physician and dietician. Assure that food is available for preparation by cooks.

Qualifications:
·One (1) year dietary/food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred but not required.
·Must have State Food Service Sanitation certification.
·Food Sanitation License preferred.
