We’re currently seeking a motivated Cook to join our food services team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane on a casual basis. In this role you will provide an important role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals to support that the wellbeing of our patients.

About you:
Minimum of two years’ experience as a Cook
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent recognised qualification)
Current Food Hygiene certification
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (hospital or aged care is desirable but not essential)
Demonstrable experience and knowledge in food preparation, hygiene and infection control procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety and safe manual handling practices
Availability to work on a casual basis a variety of shifts over a 7-day rotating roster, weekends

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
