Schedule: PRN; Varied per program need. Must be available for weekends and rotating holidays.

Earn $16.50/hour, plus shift differentials.

Position Details

The Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious meals for approximately 18–25 individuals per service, ensuring consistency, food safety, and dietary compliance. This role requires someone dependable, flexible, and comfortable cooking for large groups, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

This position supports the Extended Acute Care (EAC) program in York, which provides comprehensive, therapeutic care for individuals living with chronic mental health conditions. As part of the kitchen team, the Cook contributes to a structured, supportive environment that promotes overall wellness and recovery for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook three meals and two snacks daily for residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
