We’re looking for a passionate Full Time Daytime Cook who loves cooking from the heart and takes pride in creating delicious meals for our residents.

About the Role

As our Cook you’ll be a key part of village life, preparing wholesome, well-balanced meals that our residents genuinely look forward to. You’ll work in a friendly, supportive environment where your skills and creativity are valued.

Your day-to-day will include

• Preparing and cooking nutritious, home-style meals for residents
• Supporting special dietary requirements (allergies, texture-modified, cultural needs)
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
• Assisting with menu preparation and stock control
• Working collaboratively with the village team to ensure residents feel cared for and respected

About You

You’re not just a cook, you’re someone who understands the power of food to comfort and connect people.

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience as a Cook working in a fast paced environment (aged care, hospitality, or similar)
• A passion for food, with creativity and attention to detail in menu planning, food presentation, and flavour combinations.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and WHS requirements
• Ability to satisfy pre-employment checks, including a National Police History Check.
