Sarana Early Childhood Education and Care Centre
We are seeking a qualified Cook to work part-time (one day per week) at our Saranna Early
Childhood and Care Centre SECECC.
The role of Cook will support the Childcare team to plan, order, cook and provide a nutritious and age-appropriate daily menu for children from 6 weeks – 5 years. To ensure the implementation and monitoring of the Food Safety Program in line with laws and regulations ensuring the safe delivery of food to all children.
The position is offered as one day per week, working each Wednesday and the opportunity to
cover staff leave.
Position is level 3 $34.43 per hour (plus a 3% increase from April 2026), plus superannuation and salary packaging option.
SECECC is a unique service situated on the 32-acre property of the Rick Hammersley Centre Therapeutic Community in Cullacabardee (10 minutes from Ellenbrook). With a qualified team of workers, SECECC encourages every child to grow, learn, and develop at their own pace. Our educational programs provide supportive, active learning through flexible play with a focus on building the strengths of individual children.
