1) Plan, prep, set-up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items and specials in accordance with restaurant standards and plating guide specifications
2) Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
3) Maintain food and beverage hygiene policies, cost and quality controls, high volume production operations, inventory control systems, loss prevention, and site/outlet and equipment maintenance.
4) Maintain kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures assisting the Lead Chef.
5) Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards. Estimate daily production needs on a weekly basis and communicate production needs to kitchen personnel.
6) Maintain shifts operation guideline while personally preparing food items and executing requests based on required specifications
7) Maintain adequate stock levels of food & drinks through management of food inventory, food costs, operating costs and Labour costs.
8) Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
9) Effectively communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and notifying Supervisor the resolutions.
10) Performs all duties as allocated in the Kitchen meeting the standards and quality defined.
11) Maintain levels of surgical cleanliness in the kitchen, kitchen equipment and ensure all HACCP standards are maintained at all times.
12) Manages day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. Handle guest problems and complaints.
