Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a Family Office professional to join our Family Office team. This individual will serve as a senior, client-facing operator responsible for overseeing and coordinating the full spectrum of non-investment services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

This person will act as a central point of accountability across complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s financial, operational, and lifestyle needs are executed seamlessly and in alignment with their objectives. This role requires strong project management capabilities, sound judgment, and the ability to coordinate across internal teams and a network of external advisors.

The ideal candidate has experience working with sophisticated clients, managing complex assets and initiatives, and serving as a trusted partner who can translate strategy into execution across a broad range of family office services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Project Management

  • Serve as the central coordinator for complex, ad hoc client initiatives, including privacy and security enhancements, lifestyle transitions, and other multi-faceted projects.
  • Act as the primary point of accountability across internal teams and external advisors to ensure timely execution and alignment.
  • Establish structure, timelines, and communication protocols to drive initiatives forward efficiently.

Complex Asset Oversight

  • Provide end-to-end oversight across the lifecycle of complex, high-value assets, including real estate, private aircraft, marine assets, vehicles, and collectibles.
  • Coordinate due diligence, acquisition, ownership structuring, ongoing administration, and disposition in partnership with legal, tax, and advisory teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation, risk coverage, and alignment with broader client strategy.

Risk Management and Insurance Coordination

  • Lead annual insurance reviews and ongoing policy coordination in partnership with external insurance advisors.
  • Ensure new and existing assets are appropriately integrated into coverage.
  • Source and evaluate specialty insurance solutions for complex risks, including collectibles, aviation, equine, and event-related exposures.

Integration with Broader IEQ Family Office Services

  • Coordinate closely with internal specialists to deliver holistic planning:
  • Estate Planning: Partner with IEQ Wealth Strategists and external estate attorneys to coordinate estate plan reviews and implementation.
  • Income Tax Strategy: Collaborate with internal tax strategists and external CPAs to support tax planning and review processes.
  • Lending and Liquidity: Engage with lending specialists to coordinate credit strategies and liquidity solutions.
  • Family Dynamics: Support family governance, education, and next-generation planning initiatives.

Estate and Household Management Support

  • Evaluate and coordinate estate staffing solutions, payroll providers, and benefits structures.
  • Oversee real estate operations by coordinating with property managers, household staff, and vendors.
  • Ensure consistent, efficient management of household operations aligned with client expectations.

Lifestyle and Concierge Services

  • Act as a trusted resource for lifestyle-related needs by sourcing and coordinating with external providers, including:
  • Personal and cybersecurity services
  • Concierge medical services
  • Complex and luxury travel planning
  • Residency and domicile considerations
  • Private aviation and marine transport
  • Oversee onboarding and ongoing monitoring of bill pay and financial operations providers

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a family office, multi-family office, private bank, or similar environment serving UHNW clients.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary client needs across investments-adjacent areas such as real assets, insurance, estate coordination, and lifestyle services.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating with external advisors, including legal, tax, insurance, and operational providers.
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving ability in high-stakes, client-sensitive situations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complexity into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to execution quality.
  • Ability to operate independently and serve as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams.

Compensation

The total compensation range for this role, inclusive of base salary and bonus, is $190,000-$250,000, depending on skills and experience.
