Job Summary

We
are a Pan-African creative and media group shaping the future of entertainment,
experiential marketing, and cultural production across the continent. Our
ecosystem brings together diverse creative ventures — spanning music, live
experiences, content, and media — into one vertically integrated network. We
are building Africa’s next-generation creative infrastructure — connecting
audiences, brands, and talent across borders — and are now seeking a Chief
Operating Officer (COO) to help us run one of the most ambitious creative
enterprises on the continent.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Strategic Leadership:
  Work directly with
  the Group CEO to translate the group's strategic vision into actionable
  operational plans and objectives. Drive the integration of operations
  across all business units to maximize efficiency and revenue.
• 
  Operational Oversight:
  Lead, manage, and
  optimize the operational functions of all the Group entities across all
  markets. This includes overseeing business processes, performance metrics,
  and operational budgets.
• 
  Team Management & Development:
  Provide
  inspirational leadership to the country and business unit managers. Foster
  a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. Mentor
  and develop talent to build a strong operational leadership pipeline.
• 
  Process Improvement & Standardization:
  Identify, document
  and implement best practices and standardized operational procedures
  across all markets and business units to improve efficiency, reduce costs,
  and enhance service delivery.
• 
  Financial & Performance Management:
  Monitor operational
  performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial
  targets. Work with finance teams to manage operational budgets, analyze
  financial data, and provide insights to the CEO and the board.
• 
  Market & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Facilitate seamless
  communication and collaboration between different business units and
  markets. Ensure that operations support the commercial, creative, and
  strategic goals of each entity.
• 
  Risk Management & Compliance:
  Ensure all
  operations are conducted in compliance with local regulations, industry
  standards, and internal policies. Identify and mitigate operational risks
  across the group.
• 
  Travel:
  The role requires frequent travel to our operational
  markets in Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, and Rwanda to conduct business
  reviews, meet with local teams, and assess market opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

15+ years’ leadership experience,
including at least 5 years in a senior operations role (COO, GM, MD, or
equivalent).

Proven ability to run multi-market or
multi-brand organizations across Africa or similar emerging markets.

·
Strong experience in media,
entertainment, FMCG, or other brand-driven industries.

·
Builder mindset — you have created or
scaled systems in high-growth environments.

·
Financially savvy — confident managing
budgets, P&Ls, and governance processes.

·
An inspiring people leader who can
motivate and hold senior teams accountable.

·
Resilient, decisive, and thrives in
fast-paced, dynamic business environments.
