Conversion of design document to increase operational awareness

Suitable for BSc in Mechanical Engineering / Sustainable Energy

The operational department of the HoSt Own to Operate organization is primarily focused on Power Plant Operation. To make sure that the operational staff is properly equipped with documentation in the right format an existing set of P&ID’s has to be converted. Additionally project documentation needs to be put in a Maintenance Management System. The student will gain a lot of process and mechanical knowledge of Biomass CHP’s and will have the chance to work with state of the art MMS software.

Your tasks:

• Merging loose P&ID’s into one single large schematic;

• Inserting data into Ultimo, the MMS used at HoSt.

Who are you?

• BSc Mechanical Engineering / Sustainable Energy;

• Interested in sustainable energy technology;

• Plan-minded and independent worker.
