Would you like to build the future of digital customer interaction at Nationale Nederlanden? For an Empowered Product Team (EPT) within a strategic transformation program, we are looking for an experienced Conversational Data Scientist. In this role, you develop and optimize dynamic chat interactions on our new conversational platform (SanneGPT) and ensure that customers are effectively helped within two minutes.
As a Conversational Data Scientist, you are responsible for developing, training, and improving AI-driven conversational flows. You combine data science, AI, and conversational design to answer customer questions smartly, quickly, and correctly.
You work at the intersection of LLMs, data, conversational journeys, and platform integrations. By intelligently integrating business logic and data and applying RAG and LLMs, you ensure that our chatbot conversation continuously learns and improves based on data and usage. In doing so, you deliver a direct impact on customer satisfaction, efficiency, and the automation of customer processes.

You will work in a multidisciplinary Empowered Product Team (EPT) within a newly established strategic transformation program together with Conversational Experts, AI Developers, UX Designers, Customer Researchers, and Business Analysts. In addition, you will collaborate intensively with the SanneGPT team to further develop and scale best practices, models, and frameworks within NN. We do this on our new conversational platform.
You will also be part of a Data & AI Guild, in which you actively share knowledge, explore new techniques, and continuously develop yourself together with other data and AI professionals within NN.
