This position will work a variety of hours including evenings, weekends, split-shifts, on-call and statutory holidays, and candidates must have the flexibility to work a variety of hours.
Class 1 and 2 candidates Upon hire, candidates will commence with 6-7 weeks of Transit Operator training working 6 hours per day, Monday thru Friday with some weekends. Candidates will be compensated at a training rate until they successfully complete the training program.
Class 4 and 5 candidates Upon hire, candidates will commence with two weeks of Class 2 license upgrade training, followed by 6-7 weeks of Transit Operator training working 6 hours per day, Monday thru Friday with some weekends. Candidates will be compensated at a training rate until they successfully complete the training program.
