The Convenience Store Cashier will assist customers in finalizing food and gas purchases at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel Convenience Store Station.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive cash, gift card, or charge payments for products purchased and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customer.
Describe product features, pricing, and new products to customers.
Refill products and ensure products are displayed appropriately.
Ensure store, restrooms, back stockrooms, pumps, and other outside areas are kept clean and organized by performing cleaning tasks as needed.  This includes emptying all garbage cans, sweeping, and mopping.
Notify supervisor of needed products for restocking.
Cash ticket vouchers per customers’ requests.
Take and prepare special orders from customers.
Fold and prepare boxes for recycling.
Bag, box, or wrap merchandise.
Resolve customer's complaints.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Must be able to obtain a Coeur d’Alene tribal gaming license.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be 19 years of age or older.
Six months previous cashiering experience required, 1 year preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
Must work well in a team environment.
Ability to multitask preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills preferred.
Strong organizational and presentation skills required.
Ability to follow directions required.
Basic problem-solving skills required.
