Controls Project Engineer I
6-10 years of hands-on experience in Siemens PLC systems 300/series PLCs
Experienced in HMI and SCADA systems, STL experience is required
Practical knowledge of I/O bus systems (ASI, Profibus, Profinet)
Has Project Engineering and Commissioning Experience
Must possess PLC Programming knowhow (preferably Siemens)
Must Have worked on S7-1500 PLC.
Knowledge about baggage handling system, Conveyor lines or material handling system will be beneficial
Must have a system perspective and understand system requirements and project life cycle
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and ability to work independently
Willing to travel extensively and be able to work in multicultural environment
Is able to act as a controls lead for projects or R&D work.
Adds value during project definition phase to ensure risks are identified and mitigated.
Advise the Project Lead/ Project Manager on solutions to complex technical and multidisciplinary problems.
Ensure process compliance, quality and lead time for the project work for self and team members.
Interact with project counterparts across the world and develop a professional relationship with his counterparts.
Knowledge of material handling domain can be added advantage
Experience in Development of software library will be added advantage
Experience as a Controls lead in projects will be added advantage
Controls Engineer will be involved in Engineering, testing and commissioning of PLC and SCADA software for projects in Baggage handling domain.
Acting as a controls lead in projects
Able to work in R&D in development of new software library
Interact with Hardware engineering, Mechanical engineering, Site installation team, R&D team, High level controls team, Integration manager, Project Manager and end customer to ensure proper engineering, commissioning, integration and handover of systems
