We are currently looking for a highly skilled Controls Engineer - System Hardware & Electrical Components (mf/d).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical responsibility for electrical control hardware components and systems for reciprocating gas engines
  • Establish component specifications for new products and define validation plan for inhouse and pilot testing
  • Guide electrical design team and create wiring diagrams to meet international standards (EN, IEC, ISO, UL…)
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for sales, service and final customers
  • Manage failure investigation and create update solution

Your Profile:

  • Technical higher school (HTL), Bachelors / master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Several years of experience in electrical control panel design, wiring design and selection of related electrical components including qualification and testing techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of common suppliers of electrical components (i.e. PLC, relays, circuit breakers, wiring, sensors, actors …)
  • Broad knowledge of quality systems (ISO), electrical standards (CE, IEC, UL …), tools (EPLAN P8, ORACLE, Windchill …) and techniques
  • Project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results on time and on budget
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Legal work authorization to work in Austria is required (Non-EU-citizens: please attach the authorization form to your application)
