Control Systems Engineer – Non-F1
Brackley, UK
As a Control Systems Engineer, you’ll contribute directly to the performance of non-F1 projects, vehicles we design and to our test facilities by developing real-time software for testbeds, software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop systems. You’ll join a highly collaborative team, working at the intersection of control systems, embedded software, and simulation. Building on your experience, you’ll take ownership of tasks, contribute to system architecture, and help shape the tools and processes that keep us at the cutting edge.
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will:
Design, implement, and maintain real-time control system software using MATLAB and Simulink for our high-performance vehicles, related to ride, handling and power-train systems
Enhance and automate software development processes, including build systems, validation, and deployment workflows, to improve efficiency and reliability
Plan and execute SIL and HIL test cases to ensure all requirements are captured and validated
Develop tools and analysis scripts to streamline testing, automate repetitive tasks, and improve data analysis
Collaborate with operational teams, providing documentation, diagnostics, and hands-on technical support to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
Drive technical improvements through innovation, applying advanced software engineering, modelling and simulation technologies to real-world engineering challenges
Share knowledge and contribute to best practices within the team, while continuing to grow your expertise through mentorship and hands-on experience
