ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design of Electrical Controls - including: design of schematics, layout of panels, selection and ordering of associated components, writing PLC programs and robot programs, documentation of controls - schematics and programs, and overseeing electrical build and installation.
Overseeing all control related issues relevant to process equipment being built by outside contractors.
Responsibilities would include ensuring adherence to Hutchinson design specifications and requirements with primary focus on: machine controls, efficiency, reliability, maintenance requirements and preventive maintenance, personnel and machine safety, and conformance to Requirements from Vendors document.
Assist with evaluation and improvement of existing or future equipment where machine control modifications are necessary to overall efficiency and cost reduction. Primary responsibilities focuses on engineering required control modifications as well as overseeing that changes are completed accurately and on time including being available in crisis situations.
Assist Maintenance with analysis and repair of more difficult or problematic equipment failures including being available in crisis situations.
Provide training in regard to machine operation and maintenance requirements for all new equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; and four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
