We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer to support system implementation, enhancement, and deployment activities, including relocation to the SAT site. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in MES platforms, hands-on experience in application development, and a willingness to expand knowledge into PLC systems and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, implement, and support MES solutions in manufacturing environments.
  • Participate in system integration activities, including MES-to-ERP and shop floor integration.
  • Support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), including relocation to customer or project sites as required.
  • Develop and maintain custom MES applications, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, automation, and production.
  • Assist in validation, testing, and deployment of MES solutions.
  • Gain working knowledge of PLC systems and support integration between MES and shop floor equipment.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide training and technical support to end users and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, SAP ME/MII, or similar).
  • Strong background in application development (e.g., .NET, Java, SQL, or similar technologies).
  • Experience with system integration and industrial data exchange.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
  • Willingness to relocate temporarily or permanently for SAT activities.
  • Interest in learning and working with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to PLC programming or industrial automation systems.
  • Experience with IIoT, SCADA, or industrial connectivity solutions.
  • Knowledge of validation processes in regulated industries (if applicable).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to travel and relocate as needed for project execution.
  • Adaptability to work in dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and technical growth.
