Our award-winning client is seeking an Controls Engineer to join their team.As a Controls Engineer, you'll play a vital role in optimizing our production processes. Your expertise will help ensure efficient operations, high-quality products, and a safe working environment
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, debugging, and programming of all equipment. Champion Poka-Yoke initiatives to enhance quality and safety.
Work closely with the Maintenance department to prioritize projects and allocate resources.
Support the Machine Repair team in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing automated equipment.
Maintain up-to-date documentation, parameters, and programs for all manufacturing equipment.
Collaborate with all shifts to improve efficiency, productivity, and uptime. Serve as a resource for managers on production area projects (Poka-Yokes, cell modifications).
Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in electronics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of experience in programming and troubleshooting robotics and control equipment.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience with industrial equipment, including specifications and installation.
Proficiency in PLC programming.
