This role will support the Head of Controls and the Controls Testing Team in a newly created and centralised function within Risk Services. The scope of this role will be bank wide, including Retail, Commercial, CTO, Finance and other Central Functions.
The purpose of the role is to use information and data to assess, monitor, and strengthen internal controls in line with the bank’s standards. Control testing outputs will support the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and decision-making processes, helping to identify areas for improvement to better protect our customers and Shawbrook Bank.
A key aspect of this role will be to identify areas for improvement for control operation, control design and the testing thereof, while eliminating duplication. Enhancing efficiency by removing manual effort and identifying areas for systemisation and AI integration will be a key focus. The role will require technical skills for data analytics, data normalisation and a solid knowledge of risk and controls.
Shawbrook is committed to providing opportunities to all candidates and understand that not all candidates may possess a qualification or education aligned to the role. We will assess each candidate on their individual experience and skills, and not solely on level of education.
