Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for our Gas Services business in finance controlling function. The incumbent will be responsible for taking care of financial controlling activities of the business. This role requires a self-driven individual who is ready to pick up topics with responsibility and deliver.

The role is based in Gurugram.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support effective financial planning and performance management.
• Deliver monthly MIS and business performance reporting with insights on profitability, cash flow, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close through effective management of revenue recognition, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting.
• Perform Balance Sheet reviews and monitor receivables to strengthen working capital management and support collection targets.
• Partner with business and cross-functional teams to enable strategic planning and informed decision-making.
• Conduct financial analyses on SG&A, utilization, absorption, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards, internal controls, and governance requirements.
• Support internal and statutory audits through timely data, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Strengthen financial controls across revenue assurance, collections, fixed assets, and working capital processes.
• Prepare management and board-level review presentations highlighting key business and financial performance indicators.
• Review and challenge direct and indirect costs to drive efficiency and improve overall profitability.
• Provide actionable financial insights and proactive risk identification to support business performance and growth.

What You Bring

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-4 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Business Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance.
• Strong expertise in month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in profitability analysis, cost management, working capital optimization, and cash flow monitoring.
• Sound understanding of financial controls, governance frameworks, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SAP, advanced Microsoft Excel, and Power BI reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
