A Day in Your Life at MKS/Atotech:

As a Controlling Master Data Central Governance Analyst at MKS/Atotech, you will be supporting the governance, maintenance, and quality of controlling-related master data across the organizationThe role ensures accuracy, consistency, and compliance of controlling master data (e.g.,allocationcycles, cost centers, profit centers) to enable reliable financial reporting and controlling processes.In this role, you will report to the FP&A Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Central governance of Master Data

  • Support maintenance of cost centers, profit centers, functional areas, and secondary cost elements

  • Assistinmaintaininghierarchies and coordinating setup/changes with IT

  • Support HFM mappings and exclusions

  • Coordinate opening/closing of profit centers and updates with relevant teams

  • Support maintenance and execution of PCA (assessment/distribution) cycles for P&L and OWC

  • Assistin updating SKF drivers for PCA and COPA

  • Helpmonitorand troubleshoot allocation issues

  • Assistinmaintainingvalidation rules (CC–G/L) and coordinate with IT

  • Ensure compliance with governance standards and documentation

  • Troubleshoot on allocation issues

  • Support review of CO reports (e.g., NOFA, COFA, KE80, KE30) and follow up on issues

  • Support analysis and correction/reclassification of deviations

  • Assistin COPA, PCA planning activities and provide support to stakeholders

  • Support issue resolution and data-related queried

Central maintenance of Delegation of Authority (DoA)

  • Introduce a verification step (with business partners) as part of the quarterly review of the accuracy of all country filesThe control and monitoring must be built in, as this serves KOFAX and ARIBA.

  • Carry-out quarterly validation to review entities’ files – perform detailed checks to confirm that approval limits, roles, and authority levelscomply withglobal and regional policies.

  • Share DLT DOA to DLT members for review/confirmation.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 2–3 years of experience inFinance / Controlling operations&Exposure to the SAP environment in a manufacturing organization

  • Basic understanding of:Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting,Allocations (assessment/distribution cycles),Month-end closing in Controlling&CO–FI integration basics

  • Basic understanding of data quality, validation, and governance principles

  • SAP knowledge (FICO – basic levelrequired)

  • Good Excel skills (formulas, pivots, data checks)

  • Strong English language skills

  • Soft skills – organized, communicative, and able to work effectively under deadlines.
