Group Summary:
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.
Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.
- Lead and manage the financial controlling team to ensure efficient operations and high performance,
- Oversee month-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with Magna GAAP via One Stream,
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and budget vs. actual analysis processes,
- Monitor cost variances, lead cost control initiatives, and support efficiency improvement projects,
- Ensure accurate SAP cost processes and support SAP improvement and digitalization initiatives,
- Prepare management presentations and ensure timely submission of corporate financial reports,
- Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up corrective actions,
- Identify and implement process improvements in controlling and reporting activities,
- Lead cross-functional cost reduction projects and support operational efficiency,
- Coach and develop team members to support continuous improvement and performance management.

- Report to Finance Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields,
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in financial controlling, reporting, or finance operations within a multinational manufacturing environment,
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing finance teams,
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting processes,
- Experience with SAP and financial reporting systems management reporting principles,
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills,
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint,
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
- Position reports directly to the Finance Manager,
- Company vehicle is not included for this position.
