At GXO Logistics, we're looking for a commercially minded Controller to support our operations in Veenendaal and Almere. This is not a traditional finance role focused solely on reporting numbers. Instead, you'll act as a trusted business partner to operational leadership teams, helping them understand performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions that drive results.

We're open to candidates from both Finance and Operations backgrounds, including those with budget, forecasting and P&L ownership looking to move into a dedicated Finance Business Partnering role.

Location & Working Pattern

The role is primarily based across our Veenendaal and Almere sites, with a typical working pattern of 3 days per week in Veenendaal, 1 day per week in Almere and 1 day per week working from home. This provides the opportunity to build strong relationships with both operational teams while maintaining flexibility.

How you'll make an impact

• Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to Site Managers and operational leadership teams.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, cost control performance analysis, financial insights, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring to GXO

• Experience in Finance, Business Control, FP&A, Operations Management or similar.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, costs, and P&L performance.
• Strong understanding of operational KPIs, stakeholder management, ERP systems, and Excel.
• Logistics, supply chains, or similar operational experience is required
