Job Description

Established, stable, and growing Commercial Real Estate firm is looking for a Controller. You'll lead the full accounting operation from the Denver office, supported by a team of 5-6 accountants you'll develop and guide.

What you'll own:

• Month-end close and financial reporting across a portfolio of property-level entities
• Tenant billing, recoveries, and annual CAM true-ups
• Treasury activity including collections, payables, and bank activity
• Accounting support for ground-up and redevelopment projects, including lender draws and project budgets
• Building better processes as the portfolio expands

What you bring:

• Several years of accounting for commercial property portfolios; retail a plus
• Daily, hands-on Yardi experience
• Experience leading and coaching an accounting team
• A degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus
• Comfort with a fast pace, a heavy workload, and working closely with principals
• Willingness to be in the Denver office full time and travel to a regional office periodically
