INTRODUCTION
Plans, directs, and controls the Tribe’s finances through analysis, management, budgeting, financing, and accounting practices, as well as nurturing its relationship with institutions and other members of the financial community by performing the following duties personally, or with staff.

REQUIREMENTS:
TL 129: Any combination of education and experience totaling eight years of governmental or fund accounting will be considered. Two years of supervisory experience is mandatory.
TL 130: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or bachelor’s degree in Business with a minimum of twenty-four credit hours of advanced accounting. Five years of fiscal and accounting management experience, preferably in governmental or fund accounting. Native American governmental experience is a plus. Three years of supervisory experience is required. Credentialed applicants (CPA, CMA, etc.) are preferred.
Knowledge of:
Advanced accounting concepts, general ledger reconciliations, and cash management.
Advanced computer operations, Excel and accounting software, and hardware.
Thorough understanding of fund accounting, budgeting, and grant administration.
Ability to:
Produce, read, and understand financial reports.
Other:
Occasionally work weekends and evenings.
Must possess a valid Oregon State driver's license, and insurance and be eligible to drive a GSA Vehicle.

The Siletz Tribal Gaming Commission is responsible for the regulation of Chinook Winds Casino Resort and any other gaming activities within the Tribe's jurisdiction. The Tribal Council has delegated its authority to regulate Tribal gaming activities pursuant to applicable laws and regulations to the Siletz Tribal Gaming Commission by resolution adopting the Tribal Gaming Charter, pursuant to the Tribe's Tribal/State Compact for the regulation of Class III gaming with the State of Oregon. The Siletz Tribal Gaming Commission's regulatory authority extends over all Tribal gaming operations, including the activities of the Tribal Council in its gaming operation oversight role as set forth in the Tribal Gaming Charter.
