What The Position is About:

• Manage and oversee the accounting department and all accounting functions
• Evaluate and improve accounting processes, automation, and reporting systems for efficiency
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage third-party relationships
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability
• Create and formalize a month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage AP & AR and oversee payroll processing
• Support integration of acquisitions and differing historical processes

The Right Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership position within the home services, construction, or commercial services industry
• Advanced Excel skills
• The ability to build and formalize finance processes in a fast-changing environment
• Experience supporting a business with meaningful scale and complexity
• Job costing experience
• CPA is a big plus
