Controller

Compensation: $180,000 - $250,000 Annual Salary

Are you a finance leader who wants to build something from the ground up? A well-backed healthcare back-office and management company is looking for a Controller to stand up and lead its finance function supporting a large multi-facility nursing home portfolio. We are offering COMPETITIVE PAY with real room to grow on a CFO track.

This is a full time role based in New Jersey, hybrid considered. You will be the first finance hire, hands-on across accounting, AP and AR, while building and training the team. The Controller functions as the bridge to a CFO role and will grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience, healthcare or multi-entity preferred
• Strong technical accounting, AP/AR and financial reporting background
• Able to build a team and process from the ground up
• Able to work hybrid in New Jersey

Responsibilities

• Stand up and own the finance and accounting function
• Hire, build and train the finance team
• Manage AP, AR, the close, reporting and controls
• Partner with ownership and grow toward the CFO role
