Controller Responsibilities

• Oversight of all day to day office and accounting functions
• Preparation and analyzing of financial statements that are completed in a timely manner
• Manages and trains office staff
• Comply with local, state and federal reporting requirements and tax fillings
• Maintain effective cash flow management
• Communicate with other departments on a regular basis
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, schedules and other accounts
• Ensure records are maintained in orderly, current and accurate fashion
• Figure month end commissions
• Process inter-company transactions
• Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies

Controller Requirements

• Minimum 4 Year Accounting Degree
• Skilled in Microsoft office and accounting programs
• Effective Communication Skills
• Highly professional
• Dependable
• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Working knowledge of dealership financial statements and other financial information
• Positive attitude
