Job Shift: AnyMorgan Steel, LLC is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records, managing the accounting team, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll support, and Fixed Assets.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to executive leadership.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Coordinate annual audits and work directly with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff while promoting continuous improvement.
- Assist leadership with strategic planning, capital expenditures, and operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
