Airis Labs transforms user-generated content into actionable field intelligence for government agencies worldwide. Our platform empowers frontline analysts with multi-modal AI tools that extract clarity from chaos enabling rapid insight across fragmented, unstructured media.
We're looking for a Controller to own core financial operations across the group. You'll drive close cycles, partner with auditors, shape internal controls, and help build the financial backbone of a fast-growing defense-tech company from ERP implementation to US-GAAP compliance. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, not a back-office seat.
What You'll Own
- Drive end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close for the group
- Partner with external auditors -lead the provision of work papers for quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Own annual tax returns and statutory reporting across global entities
- Analyse financial data and business metrics to surface actionable insights
- Design and document internal controls that scale with the business
- Lead implementation of finance-supporting systems and tools
- Ensure US-GAAP compliance, including adoption of new accounting standards
- Build and execute reconciliation controls to maintain accuracy across the books
- Oversee AP workflows and billing processes, ensuring seamless integration with financial systems
- Verify proper implementation of company policies -expenses, travel, procurement
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
- Take on ad-hoc strategic projects as the business evolves
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in high-tech companies (SaaS preferred) -required
- CPA with Big 4 firm experience -required
- Fluent English, spoken and written -required
- Strong US-GAAP knowledge and hands-on experience
- Advanced ERP skills -NetSuite experience is a plus
- High proficiency in Excel
- Sharp analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- A bias for results -you deliver high-quality work, on time
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
- Self-starter mentality -you take ownership and hold yourself to a high bar
- Strong communication skills in both English and Hebrew
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive financial data
