CONTROLLER
Provide leadership and oversight of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with U.S. GAAP standards, and proper management of accounting operations within a real estate environment.
Position Requirements
Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or controller positions, preferably within U.S. companies or real estate environments.
Technical Knowledge: U.S. GAAP Financial Reporting Budgeting & Forecasting Accounts Payable & Receivable Bank Reconciliations General Ledger Advanced Excel Yardi Software (preferred)AI Tools knowledge is a plus
Position Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations and accounting team. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare and review financial statements and financial reports. Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and internal controls. Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting. Coordinate AP, AR, reconciliations, and accounting processes. Support leadership with financial analysis and strategic reporting. Improve accounting procedures and operational efficiency.
