A well-established, privately held automotive dealership group is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations. This is a true accounting leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and takes pride in accurate, timely financial reporting.
What You’ll Do:
Lead full-cycle accounting oversight (GL, month-end close, financial statements, reconciliations)
Manage AP, AR, payroll, factory reporting, and all required schedules
Maintain and strengthen internal controls
Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting to ownership and leadership
Serve as the accounting backbone of the organization
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of dealership accounting experience
Strong, hands-on experience with CDK GMS (required)
Proven ability to manage the full accounting cycle independently
High level of accuracy, accountability, and ownership
True Controller-level accounting expertise — this is not a finance/FP&A role
