The Controller oversees all accounting and financial reporting functions for the agency and its affiliated volunteer organizations. This role manages internal control systems, cash and investment activities, billing, collections, payroll, payables, benefits accounting, and tax filings. The Controller ensures fiscal compliance with all regulatory, grant, and contract requirements, serves as the primary contact for external audits, and provides leadership to the Accounting and Payroll teams.

SALARY $111,125.00 - $125,000.51 Annual Salary, Exempt
Education and
Experience:
CPA, MBA, or equivalent education and experience is required.
A minimum of 7 years of senior-level accounting management experience is required. Nonprofit experience is preferred. Experience in fundraising, grant, and contract accounting is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in accounting software implementation, maintenance, and IT integration is required. Strong background in internal controls, financial reporting, and cash flow management is required. Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge, Raiser’s Edge, and Paycom preferred.
Driving is an essential function of this job. As such, employees in this position will be required to furnish their own vehicle to be used in the course of employment. A valid driver’s license and minimum insurance coverage is also required. Must be at least 21 years old.
