Job Description

Responsibilities:

• May oversees one or more of the following functions: budgeting, tax, payroll, analysis and accounting activities throughout the organization.
• Provides direction to Finance department in computer applications and procedures necessary to provide appropriate guest and employee services, maintains proper records to afford adequate accounting controls.
• Provides financial, accounting, personnel and operational support to the CFO.
• Designs and implements systems of internal control to safeguard company assets.
• Reviews and approves the company's financial statements on a monthly basis.
• May directs the budgeting, financial analysis and payroll functions of the corporation, providing appropriate information to management in order to implement operational and financial and capital plans.
• Coordinates tax activities with the assistance of corporate personnel to ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations.
• Directs cash activities in order o maintain appropriate balances and to maximize investment opportunities.
• Provides financial information and analysis to corporate personnel in order to monitor overall Bally’s Casino Corporation financial objectives and to meet external reporting requirements.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and Louisiana gaming regulations.
• Maintains high levels of customer and team-member service.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Directly supervises General Ledger Accountant and Senior Accountant, Payroll Supervisor and Accounts Payable Supervisor.
• Indirectly supervises payroll clerks and accounts payable clerks.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
