The Controller will play a critical role in overseeing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role is ideal for a high-performing Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller seeking the next step in their career, as well as experienced Controllers who enjoy being hands-on.

The Controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthening processes and controls, supporting operational and strategic decision-making, and partnering closely with leadership across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Monitor general ledger activity and investigate discrepancies
• Cash flow tracking and financial analysis
• Lead or support ERP enhancements, integrations, and reporting improvements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Experience with NetSuite
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, and/or e-commerce
• Prior people-management or team-lead experience
• Cost accounting or inventory-heavy environment experience
