Controller Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with external auditors, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of audit schedules as required.
• Guarantee the presentation of all financial statements complies with established accounting standards.
• Ensure profitability reports are generated both promptly and correctly.
• Oversee proper month-end closing procedures.
• Experience with GAAP
• Manage liquidity levels to ensure optimal operation while maximizing income.
• Attend and contribute to committee meetings, delivering necessary reports.
• Ensure accurate and on-time submission of all required tax documentation and regulatory forms.
• Ensure investments are appropriately accounted for in line with established accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of experience overseeing an accounting department.
• A minimum of five years of experience in budgeting, account management, financial analysis, and reporting.
• A CPA License or a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in accounting is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
