Senior Control Valve Technician

We have a rewarding opportunity for a Senior Control Valve Technician to join our Dyna-Flo team in Edmonton, AB!

Under minimal supervision, the Control Valve Senior Technician repairs, assembles, tests, pretests, seats properly and performs final settings of valves in the plant and in the field. Qualified as a Journeyman to work on RV’s and BV’s or CV’s, this role requires employee to act as a temporary team leader on shop and field jobs requiring leadership skills.

Location: Canada-Edmonton (Dyna-Flo) - Onsite

Salary: $30 Hourly

Your Challenge:

  • Assemble and test control valves, including actuators and instrumentation

  • Utilize blueprints, specialized tooling and fixtures, measuring equipment, testing equipment, and hand tools for the final configured product

  • Complete test reports and other required documentations

  • Read and interpret instructions, assembly drawings, parts lists, routing sheets and visual aids

  • Leadership skills with good communication

  • Maintain safety and cost awareness

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required

  • Diploma or Certification in a technical is strongly preferred

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment

  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • Problem solving, planning and organizational skills

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks successfully
