Job Responsibilities
Program and develop HMH Equipment Control System solutions
Diagnose and resolve issues in existing PLC systems to ensure optimal performance
Ensure seamless integration of PLCs with other automation components and systems
Deliver high-quality software designs that enhance system efficiency and reliability
Produce clear and structured documentation for system users and stakeholders
Collaborate with control system engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive system functionality
Participate in project meetings to review progress, challenges, and solutions
Engage with users and stakeholders to collect feedback and support continuous system improvements
Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to overall project execution and delivery
Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) in line with HMH policies
Required Qualifications
Education
Technical degree from a college or university. Relevant professional experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
Experience
Experience in control system software development, including PLC programming and troubleshooting. Familiarity with automation systems and integration of control system components is required.

Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Technical Skills
Proficiency with Siemens PLC platforms (Simatic Classic / TIA Portal and DasyLab)
Experience with PLC programming languages (FBD, STL, SCL)
Experience with industrial communication networks (Profinet, Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus)
Instrumentation and electrical knowledge is desirable
Experience with process and/or machine control systems is an advantage
