Control Room Operator (CRO)

CONSTANT is currently seeking experienced Control Room Operators (CROs) for a current vacancy at one of our entertainment park sites in Sydney.

In this critical role, you will support the safety and security of staff, guests, and visitors by monitoring security systems, coordinating incident responses, and maintaining effective communication with on-site security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, and other security monitoring systems to identify and respond to incidents.
• Coordinate emergency responses and escalate incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with on-site security officers, supervisors, and management.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, operational logs, and other required documentation.
• Monitor activities of interest and assist with investigations into security incidents or breaches.
• Support the implementation of emergency procedures and ensure compliance with site security protocols.
• Maintain a professional and proactive approach in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable and experienced security professional with strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills. You will be comfortable working independently in a control room environment while coordinating closely with operational teams.

You must be available to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends as required. Weekday availability is essential, and this is not a weekend-only position.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Control Room Operator or Monitoring Centre Operator.
• Current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A/E, with the relevant control room function/endorsement as required).
• Current nationally accredited First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during incidents and emergencies.
• Availability to work a rotating roster across days and nights.

Pay Rates & Benefits

• Base Rate: $30.23 per hour (Award Equivalent Level 4)
• Night Shift: $36.79 per hour
• Saturday: $45.35 per hour
• Sunday: $60.46 per hour
• Public Holidays: $75.58 per hour

Permanent employment with applicable shift penalties in accordance with the relevant award and roster.
