Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• System Monitoring: Monitor and control process parameters (pressure, temperature, level, flow) using DCS/SCADA to meet production targets.
• Startup/Shutdown: Execute safe startup and shutdown procedures for processing units or pipelines.
• Alarm Management: Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve process anomalies or equipment failures.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) policies and strict adherence to permit-to-work systems.
• Coordination: Act as the primary contact between field operators, maintenance crews, and supervisors.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed shift logs and technical reports.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Usually 5-8+ years of experience in oil & gas production, refining, or petrochemical control rooms.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency with DCS/SCADA systems and ability to read P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Education: Diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
• Core Competencies: High safety awareness, excellent communication skills, ability to work in multicultural teams, and effective under pressure.
