Control Room Operator

• R30,000 R40,000/month
• 12-month contract (renewable)
• 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

We're hiring 22 Control Room Operators to manage real-time process control at a high-output diamond recovery plant in Angola. Youll oversee operations via SCADA and CCTV systems, ensuring optimal throughput and recovery on every shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control DMS and recovery circuits via SCADA & CCTV
• Detect faults and respond to early warnings in real-time
• Maintain correct plant equipment levels and settings
• Ensure metallurgical quality standards and recovery efficiency
• Accurately complete production reports and shift handovers
• Support metallurgical test work and collaborate with plant teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in SCADA/process control in a diamond mining environment
• Proven knowledge of DMS and recovery circuits
• Basic computer and MS Office skills
• Experience operating in compliance-heavy, safety-critical environments
• (Bonus: CCTV monitoring experience)
